"From the moment we arrived the staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The food was excellent. The lovely dinners made the stay special. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The only negative was that the WiFi in our room was not good and kept dropping off."

"Perfect place to stay if you’re in the area. We had a twin room, which was a good size and had a full bath tub with soaps, shower gels and shampoo. Tea/coffee making facilities and free bottled water. The rooms are attached to wonderful pub, the staff are super friendly and the food served there is excellent. Definitely make a bee line for the roast lamb if you’re there on a Sunday. Plenty of choice for breakfast. My only wish would be the option to have a hot breakfast, but for the price of the...

"It's a beautiful old house and nicely located within walking distance of restaurants and pubs. Plenty of parking in the back. The staff are great - friendly and helpful. My only complaint was with the shower controls! After fiddling with them for quite some time, I finally managed to get water at a reasonable temperature to flow from the shower head rather than in the tub, but even now I don't think I could repeat the process."

"Hotel is in great location but the car park is a public car park. So in busy times you could end up with no space although it’s a large car park. And it’s rough, loose stones and not flat. The staff are lovely, very helpful. We had a lovely sea view room, comfortable bed, nice bedding, not huge and the en suite is quite snug, but lovely and clean and modern. Nice to have cooked to order breakfast, overall a good place to stay."
