Ignoring the scaffolding you see as you park up, once inside the Grand was excellent. Staff were very attentive, especially the bar staff.. Food whilst a limited menu, was excellent. Parking can be an issue but there is a pay and display 5 mins away. Rooms very modern and views fantastic. Would stay again happily...

It a beautiful historic beach front hotel. The aura of the history was everywhere. The front desk people were very sweet. The glass terrace facing the beach was an exquisite place to sit. The green lawn at the front was very peaceful place. The breakfast I did not like so much, but there were plenty of other options around

We had a wonderful 3 day stay at the Grand. We booked the lowest cost room which was compact but comfortable. We had a great view over the sea. Staff were helpful and food was great. We enjoyed the sauna and hot tub, and its possible to walk to the beach for a plunge. Its a pleasant 10 minute walk to the town centre.
