"Beautiful large room with nice toiletries, a spectacular View of the loch, nice lounge area with open log fires, excellent breakfast……everything was perfect, the only downside was the restaurant prices are very expensive and £4 for a can of irn bru was a bit of a cheek…..but a nice weekend away. Grandtully is more correctly Grantully (pronounced 'Grantly') but mapping has it with the 'd' and it will probably now stick. After 8 weeks with little or no rain, rivers are low, but the River Tay, fed from Loch Tay, usually hold its level well.
