"If you are traveling for history and historic beauty this is the place, but like a very old Jaguar, even when restored is going to be a bit...unreliable. The hot water, once you turned on all the taps to get it, lasted three minutes...if you are old or disabled, the stairs are a challenge, the AC struggles to keep the room cool and this is when we are not in a heat wave...no refrigerator to keep your food cool, either. It is a beautiful hotel, but not a practical place...like an old Jaguar."

"The service at this property was great and helpful with everything. But the rooms are in severe need of updating or deep cleaning. My partner and I were first placed in room 6312 and it was bug ridden, full of cobwebs, smelled of mold, and still dirty. I had to kill about 20 bugs. We were luckily able to get a room change into a much cleaner room but still couldn’t get over the amount of bugs we had to kill. If I could add videos to my review you would be able to see how many were crawling all...

"We had an ok stay. Unfortunately our bedroom smelled like raw sewage for some reason, not sure if it's because the facilities are old? Also unfortunately when I was in the shower did I realize they were out of conditioner and body soap. For the amount of money the room cost the facilities were not up to what I'd expect."

"The room was very confortable and there were even barn doors that closed the sleeping section, so that the rest of the room was like a living room / work area. The parking was very pricey and there was no place to charge an electric car at the hotel. Staff was nice, but did not know where we could charge the car nearby. They should be more informed. The breakfast was not very good. We stayed two nights, so I tried different things. Bagels, muffins, croissants were not fresh. Coffee was just ok....
