"Rooms were ideal for what we needed. Beautiful quiet location and the bar/restaurant next door was ideal. We only spent one night while travelling. Having stayed at motels in America, I was a little hesitant when my partner said she had booked it, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Don’t judge a book by its cover I guess."

"Lovely old building with many original features. Beautiful view. Only stayed one night, large dated bedroom and bathroom. Does not reflect the same ambience of other rooms. Currently doesn’t feel cosy due to its expanse. Could be lovely with time, current palette trends for little cost and by reconfiguring the room and making a comfortable seating area with a maybe a sofa bed so it can be a family room, two office chairs are not compatible with the rest of the building or comfortable. There is no artwork on the beige walls. The bathroom suite is good again it doesn’t need to be fully tiled just follow today’s trends. . A missed opportunity. Restaurant not open on Sunday and Monday a disappointment."

"We really liked Harbour House where we stayed for one night before catching the ferry to Stornoway. Finding the place is easy and there is plenty of parking on site. On arrival we were given a very friendly welcome from the receptionist. Our room was spotlessly clean, well maintained and comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast next morning was excellent and all the staff were friendly and helpful. If we had known how pleasant Ullapool is, we would have stayed longer!"

"The owners were very pleasant and knowledgeable about the area. There was a wonderful walking path into town that we trekked twice a day across a tumbling beautiful river. We were able to park on the street of a very quiet neighborhood. We would return."
