"I recently stayed at Hotel Indigo Stratford Upon Avon by IHG, and overall it was a very good experience with only a couple of small things to be aware of for future travellers.
🛏️ Room & Cleanliness
The rooms were modern, spotless, and well‑maintained, which immediately set a good tone for the stay. The addition of air conditioning was a big plus, especially for warmer days, and everything felt fresh and comfortable.
👋 Staff & Reception
Staff throughout the hotel were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Reception in particular was efficient and made check‑in smooth. You really feel looked after from the moment you arrive.
🍳 Breakfast
Breakfast was well organised, with good service and a solid choice of hot and cold options. Everything was fresh, and the team kept things running smoothly even during busy periods.
🍸 Bar
The bar area was a nice place to relax, with a cosy atmosphere and good drink options. A great spot to unwind after exploring the town.
🚗 Parking
The only downside is the £15 per day parking fee, which feels a little on the high side and is an additional cost on top of the booking. It’s worth factoring this in when planning your stay.
📍 Location
The hotel’s location is excellent. Stratford Upon Avon itself is a lovely area with plenty of pubs, restaurants, and cafés within walking distance. The river walk is especially nice and adds to the charm of staying here.
