A Hidden Gem!

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a broader trip through Germany as we toured Rugen And Usedom. This is a remote hotel within walking distance to the Baltic Sea in the quaint little small town of Devin. The rooms are a decent size for Germany and they were clean and comfortable. The staff spoke little English but were very accommodating and helpful. The restaurant was one of our favorites in Germany with exceptional schnitzel! it was five stars! Would definitely stay here again.

Es war soweit alles gut, nur was mir nicht gefallen hat, ist der Schimmel an der Decke über der Dusche gewesen. Habe dies auch bei der Abreise angesprochen, und hoffe das es beseitigt wird.

Hyggeligt hotel nær cykelstier og badestrand

Kurhaus Devin ligger superskønt i en lille tæt bøgeskov med fuglefløjt og små 100 m til en dejlig badestrand, dog er det op ad bakke til hotellet. Vi havde booket 2 Comfortværelser med balkon og det var dejligt, dog ingen airkondition, ingen myggenyt for balkondør - kun for vindue. Morgenbuffet inkl var ok, men kunne godt være opgraderet med müsli, havregryn, kold mælk, men godt med frugt og godt brød. Spiste 2 gange til aften i restauranten: Snitzel var rigtig god. 2. gang var med super forret: fiskesuppe og bruchetta, men hovedretten Kurhaus Burger var bestemt ikke saftig og bollen var alt for hårdt ristet, - gedeosten var smeltet næsten væk. Det gjaldt alle 4. Personalet ikke superskarpe på engelsk men imødekommende. Ligger formidabelt i forhold til mulighed for mange cykelture. Røgfrit rum og røgfrit indendøre. God is. Kunne godt finde på at komme igen.

Mit Auto gut erreichbar, schön im Wald gelegen. Ich habe beim Frühstück Bioqualität vermisst. Frühstück bis 10 Uhr etwas knapp, grade im Urlaub will man etwas länger schlafen, dann wäre ein ruhiges Frühstücken bis 11 Uhr angebracht. Die Deviner Fischsuppe schmeckt sehr lecker! Danke!

Mysigt kurhotel.

Väldigt mysigt hotel lite ute i skogen nära havet/stranden precis vid vändplatsen för lokala bussen dessutom. Gratis parkering. Väldigt fräscha och fina rum. Fin frukost och väldigt fin restaurang med fin lokal i grannbyggnaden där även receptionen låg.

Leuk stadje Stralsund. Je krijgt zelfs buskaartjes om vanuit hotel naar centrum te gaan. De zoutgrot is heel ontspannend (in hotel) heel uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Ruime kamer met groot terras en Practische badkamer.

WARNING: disastrous "hotel" experience! DON'T BOOK

This "hotel" was the worst customer experience we ever had... and we travel a lot. We hope hotels.com will take immediate action to take it off its listings. And we will try to get our payment back. Quick summary of the nightmare: 1) Upon arrival in the dark and after long drive, we got yelled at by the owner, that the parking lot was not available and we better park elsewhere. Never greeted us or apologized. 2) He tells us that the hotel is full. we should leave. Upon learning we reserved and paid online, he said it's impossible and that if true, hotels.com made a mistake... he still never apologized for anything. 3) Once in the room: the double bed, was two single beds pushed together, with a 5 inch gap in the middle. Impossible to sleep together in. 4) At 1am, we get a call from the owner's wife waking us up. Asking us to speak to them in the morning since hotels.com is unreliable and they might stop working with them. 5) in the morning, we arrive for breakfast at 10:15 (breakfast until 10:30). we get lectured by a server that we're so close to 10:30 and this is not how a guest is supposed to behave. She then sits us in a corner, not in the main dining area where ALL OTHERS sit, as "punishment". And because they already "set up for lunch" and are not going to let us make a table "dirty again"... We left without breakfast and completely disgusted by the experience. Actually, incredulous might be a better word. The "Kurhaus Devin" is a true disaster

Mycket prisvärt

Vi hade ett väldigt rymligt rum och ett handikappvänligt badrum (enligt önskemål). Hotellet har ett mycket snabbt internet och en fantastiskt fin frukostveranda. Frukosten var superb!
