The check-in experience wasn't as welcoming as I expected. The indoor pool and spa were under renovation during our stay, which was a bit disappointing. On the positive side, the room was spacious, clean, and featured a nice fireplace that made it feel cozy. The property could benefit from some updates and improved landscaping, and the breakfast selection was fairly limited. However, the morning reception staff, especially Duncan, were friendly and helpful, which made a positive impression. Overall, we had a good stay. While there are a few areas that could be improved, the comfortable room and courteous staff made the experience enjoyable.

The shower head fell off in our hands. Our room key consistently did not work. The indoor pool was closed. There are no "aqua solarium waterfalls" There was no restaurant on site. Our booking says "mountain view" but all we saw was the parking lot. They charge you a "resort fee" for each day....that is NOT mentioned at all. Until you see the bill 4 days later. A person tripped and fell during breakfast on uneven flooring. No ramp to get into building on parking lot side, just many stairs.. No a/c in hallways. Very hot!!

Went for a short local getaway with our two kids and had a fantastic time, rarely leaving the hotel. The pool, hot tub, racquetball court and various lounges were a lot of fun to explore, and the staff were great!

My husband and I spent last weekend at the stowflake inn. I payed my bill and got a receipt. The next day I found out that they charged $40 to my credit card. I called every day to get and explanation , noone called me back. We are great guest, we're clean and left the room is excellent shape. I was surprised that noone called me back to address these false charges.

The property is under construction, so it is a bit odd and quite empty. The reception people were very good and the room was clean, though we had a temporary portable air conditioner. There was no refrigerator and the was inconvenient. I think they all did the best they could with what they had.
