"I appreciated this hotel. It was smallish, unassuming, reasonably priced, and it was clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but perfect for a restful night's sleep while passing through. Check-in was the fastest I've ever experienced: "I have a reservation." "You're Paul?" "Yes." "Here's your key." My only caveat is that Springfield has lost many of its restaurants over the years, and upon my arrival Sunday night there were none open, only a Subway shop in the Love's gas station down the road a bit. But I'd stay at the Crawford any time I'm passing through southeast Colorado."
