Hotel had everything we needed for a long weekend in Stockholm. We were only in the rooms to sleep etc. as we spent most of the time exploring but this was perfect base for us and had everything we needed. The rooftop bar was nice to visit before bed and had a nice view. The hotel is located on the edge of Soldermalm neighbourhood with plenty of cafes and restaurants near by. Easy to get to being close to the metro. There is a lot of building work in the area but didn’t find this to be noisy or disturb us.

The room was comfortable and quiet, and the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the city center. Check-in starts at 16:00, which is somewhat late, and as breakfast is no longer included in the room rate at Scandic, the breakfast offering feels relatively expensive.

Location was great and hotel room was good for myself and two kids. Only disappointment was that for the first few days we could connect the laptop via a cable and watch our own content, but the system updated through our stay and it was not possible after that. We absolutely loved our stay at the Scandic. The property manager was extremely helpful with holding onto our bags for a few days prior to our stay. The location is close to Slussen station and extremely walkable. Our room was cozy and clean with a great view of the water. The hotel breakfast was incredible - make sure you book a spot in advance because they do get full.

Beautiful and clean but not quiet

Beautiful and clean hotel in the center of everything Stockholm has to offer! Loved the friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was quite a spread of Swedish foods. My only complaint was the loud music played across the street from the hotel every evening (during the week) until about 10pm. It made bedtime with my infant a little tricky. Otherwise a family friendly environment.

If you want to check in before 4 pm, they charge you 25 EUR. And when you arrive at 1 pm, they smile into your face saying: oh your room is ready. And you feel kind of happy for a second, but then it goes: but if you want to go to your ready room you have to pay again. The roof top bar is nice. But not nice enough to male up for the rest.

Nice breakfast, but improvements needed

The good: The staff set up the sinhle couch bed upon our arrival for our children, which was so convenient. The breakfast had many options and was good. The bad: The bathroom was tiny and the shower only had a movable glass door and the shower head didn’t stay in place after our first two showers, so water got everywhere in the bathroom soaking all of the towels. There was construction so there was no terrace bar or restaurant available.

Stying for the holidsys with a friend

Sayed with a friend over the christmas holiday. The hotel was quite full but still cslm and quiet. The view over the bay to the old town and Skanssen was stunning from the 7th floor. Hotel os a bit worn out, and there were stauns on the floor of the bedroom. When registerin to the room the reseptionist told us that the hotel restaurant is close ower the holiday, which was not told us on the website when we booked the room. That was grately inconvinient, because Stockholm closes its cafes and restaurant for the christmas. Museum Fotocrafica has a great restaurant, open for 10-22 every day.
