"Very tired room, TV didnt work properly even after maintenance tried to fix it. Carpet stained, bathroom with lots of damage and generally very poor value for the money charged. Reception staff good. Hotel had LOTS of smashed glass and bottles outside and felt generally very iffy in terms of personal safety. Would not advise single females to use this hotel. It has clearly seen better days but I wont be using again."

"Love the station suites. Always choose this place when up in Teesside. Laura and her team really look after their customers. Suite rooms are clean with fabulous facilities. Highly recommend "

"The hotel was still being built on arrival. I had not been sent any instructions on how to access the building so could not get in for the first hour. When I left my room during the afternoon and returned, workers from the hotel were in my room removing a fridge. They accepted they should have checked with me first but this meant I left the hotel a night early as I did not feel safe in my room."

Hotels.com is in control of the booking so they were not able to amend or cancel the booking and the customer service reps consistently would refer me back to Premier Inn, which had nothing to do with booking the stay"
