"What a fantastic hotel. We really enjoyed our stay. From the friendly staff and the quality of the room. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend! 10/10"

"We loved the character of the property. It is beautifully restored, and every room is different. The location is wonderful, with restaurants, sights and shops within an easy walk. The reception staff is terrific, with a dinner recommendation that suited our request perfectly. We were in room 6, which is on the top floor. It is charming with ancient wood beams, a cosy seating area, comfortable bed and a beautiful view. This didn’t bother us, but if you are tall, the beams are quite low...

"The room was clean, staff was friendly. Only downside is there is no elevator, and no fridge or microwave to keep food was desired temperature. Location is ideal."

"Great stay. The hotel is well located. Rooms are pristine. And breakfast is very good"

"Rent, trevlig och hjälpsam personal, Spannande byggnad från 1600-talet."

"A great place, close to Leiden station, which is also a super lovely place to visit, or even stay when hoping to also see Amsterdam. A modern hotel close to many great restaurants - some with worthy specials (try Parkhuis!) and interesting sights to see. Would totally recommend!"

"The the staff at the front desk were wonderful and there is helpful as could be the location of the hotel three minute walk to the train station was perfect since we were there for 10 days and taking the train everywhere. The restaurants in the area, especially Freddy’s pico ciao we’re right down the street as well as a coffee shop that we stopped at. We were not impressed with the restaurant the Rubens at patch to the hotel and only had dinner there once the problem was the room was hot and...

"It's a beautiful environment in an urban setting, Leiden city is easy to reach, as is other shopping and the beach. Especially at these prices, however, I feel check out at 10 am is ridiculous. Also, I expect a pitch dark room when sleeping and enough light during the day. Wifi was wobbly. Staff is friendly. Price/quality just wasn't too great, although in all honesty I had 3 bookings in a row with very different prices. The restaurant has very nice food but quantities are small."

"Alles oké"

"Staff was very helpful and friendly"

"I had asked for a large double bed and was given two twin beds pushed together which I only realised on the second night after I disappeared down the gap in the middle. The bathroom exuded an overwhelming smell of urine like it hadn’t been deep cleaned for quite a while, which permeates the room unless you keep the door shut. Also the shower was on the small and awkward side. The whole place had an air of a run down hotel that smells of cigarettes and is a bit depressing. It was a little way out...

"Easy hotel to stay in. Clean"

"Comfortable enough to stay for only short period of time."
