"This is a wonderful, grand, historic building and retains the ambience of Victorian grandeur, even though there are a few scuffs and scrapes and rusted ironwork!. The reception staff were extremely welcoming and efficient and this was the case with all staff that we encountered including the breakfast staff. The room was beautifully decorated and fitted and was very comfortable with all amenities that you could want. Lots of sockets by the bed as well. Our room benefitted from a superb sea view....

"Driven past this hotel countless times & always thought that it looked like a lovely, well presented building. "I've stayed there twice now on each visit to Plymouth. The rooms have been refreshed, clean and the area is generally fairly quiet.
