"We stayed at Stanton Manor for one night - the hotel is beautiful in a lovely setting. The room had everything we needed, we didn't have dinner but did have a drink in the bar, and then breakfast had a great selection too. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We will stay again if we are needing to be in the area."

"This is a hidden gem. It's a charming old manor house with very comfortable rooms and lovely food. The staff can't do enough for you and are extremely helpful. It's set in its own grounds, completely hidden from the road with no noise apart from birdsong and the whispering of the trees."

"Stayed for one night in Room 8, room was clean, spacious and well equipped looking out onto the garden. Full English breakfast was really good, although tea and coffee were extra cost. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Overall a great short stay, we will definitely visit again! "

"Room wasn’t what was ordered, a shower was requested because of physical needs of getting in and out of the bath. Unfortunately, there’s no hand rail to help you get out. I mentioned this to a chap on reception, who just said all rooms are being upgraded, gradually. (Not exactly what I was expecting) I thought this was a health and safety issue? Room in general was dirty and dirty, which could be seen by just glancing around the room."

"Clean room. Good location. First trip with baby and none of the requests through the app were seen or attended to. Ended up changing room because room was set up wrong. Cot finally brought had no matter so had to cosleep"

"The bar area and restaurant were very nice although we ate in the restaurant on our first night and the food was good but we felt rushed and I ordered a glass of rose which was warm. We felt the bedrooms were very outdated, the beds were very hard, lumpy and too low. The lighting in the bedroom by the desk/dressing table was non existent. The room was cleaned but we were not given any toilet roll."

"Unfortunately a previous guest must have been smoking in our room and so the room was not comfortable to sleep on. It was more of an overnight stay place than a longer holiday choice as the room was fairly small."
