The accommodation is away from the main road and offers a quiet location. The pool and spa facilities are located a short distance from the accommodation but within easy reach. My studio rooms were a little tired but clean and comfortable with hot water. In room TV facilities could do with being modernised to enable access to internet and portable entertainment

We were hoping for a nice balcony with a view of the ocean. If we stood in just the right spot, we could just see the ocean between buildings at the back. The A/C was greatly appreciated but really caused excessive humidity in the room. We also didn't realize that the pool was across the road. Nice restaurants within walking distance.

My wife and i enjoyed our stay. The property is beginning to show its age, but it is far from shabby. Our suite consisted of a kitchen/ dining area/second bedroom.c the kitchen had an oven and 2 burner electric stove. It had platrd and sikverware etc. Curiously there was no microwave. The bedroom ws comfy and decent size. There was a balcony with chairs and a clothe a frying rack. The sofa in the kitchen cpnverts to a double bed. PROs Kitchen means not all meals have to be eaten out. Convenient location Cheaper than many other hotels in the area Several good restaurants in the area. Indoor and outdoor pools (we did not use them) Very accomodating, friendy staff. Fridge is very cold. Very clean. Two mini grocery stores very close. Chaplin's restaurant next door does a good English breakfast, beans on toast, egg a andwich etc. CONs Parking is difficult, but not impossible. No microwave. No drinking water - it has to be purchased like most of the hotels. Buy a 7 litre jug from the mini mart.

Ive stayed at sunny coast regularly over the last 35 years. Although they've up made the reception look nice and modern the rooms dont reflect this and havent been updated in around 20 years at least - with furniture, tiles and utensils either worn out or broken. The cleaning of the rooms has also lessened over time. It seems each year I have stayed there has been something else changed for the worse. On the plus side the rooms are large and do have most things you need and the swimming pool is easily accessible. Some of the issues we had to raise - dirty sheets, broken wardrobe and no latch on the doors to the balcony were rectified within 24 hours.

This was the perfect place I think. If your more into an amazing view and balcony than watching tv it’s perfect. The tv room was nothing to talk about but otherwise loved the kitchen and bath and comfortable bed!

Disappointing..photos not current!

Photos do not reflect the accommodation. The hotel is run down and very expensive for service received. Sea view room is partial sea view, the rest is a 24hr noisy road and other hotels. Twin beds are not an option...one bed is a sofa bed in the lounge/kitchen area. The airport shuttle is actually the local bus service which stops a couple of hundred metres away, down cobbled pavements. The hotel feels like it is being run down to close it for a much needed refurbishment. Amenities and information were sparse. Very expensive for what we experienced.

Great deal

Always enjoy our stay at Sunny Coast. Good location, large rooms, friendly staff and easy access to transit. Only complaint, more outdoor lighting is needed. Very dark walking into the hotel area.
