Breakfast consists of lots of fresh homemade options that are top notch. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with refreshments and amazing smelling toiletries. Would love to stay again. Look no further, this is the one you should book. "

"Jorvik House was a great stay for our overnight trip in York and was centrally located but away from the crowds of the city. The room was well appointed and quiet, and we had the best night’s sleep of our entire 3-week UK trip in the very comfortable bed!
The only fault of our stay is the lack of clarity around the parking at the property - we weren’t aware of the parking situation before we arrived and the closest car park was £25 per night. "

A couple of small things: 1- It would have been nice to know there was a flight of narrow stairs to get to room, 2- Bathroom sink is blocked by overhanging cabinets, toothbrushing very difficult, 3- bathroom door drifts open against the bed unless closed and then the bathroom is very hot.
