Actually was better than expected as we had read some very negative reviews. Negatives - very old & run down. Nothing in the room other than the beds. Noisy so ear plugs a necessity. And plenty of Vicky Pollards in the area. Positives - 2 single beds in each of the 2 bedrooms, so little ones can sleep whilst parents do whatever parents need to do. We stayed for 1 night as we landed late and wanted to rest the little ones before continuing to Gozo. It worked fine for that purpose as we were in, sleep, out. Wouldn't reccomend for an entire holiday, but for £50 what do you expect. Adequate.

I was on a short budget friendly trip and chose this place based on price. It was one of the cheapest in the area so i knew what i was in for. All very standard. Very dated. Staff were helpfull and friendly enough. Room was clean, although the air con unit was very loud. I was on the bottom row of rooms and every morning there were cigarette buts on my balcony. I imagine rooms above were throwing them over the side. Pool area was ok, has a kind of soviet era look to it. I was not allowed to take the hotel towels provided to the pool, which i found odd. Pool had a bar area but was only open once out of the 2 afternoons i was there. Could be because it was quiet (out of main summer season). Location is good if your there to party. Plenty of bars and restaurants and a short walk to the beach. If its cheap and cheerfull you want. Its ok. Do not expect the Ritz.

The Staff were ok but the hotel is ageing and looks and feels it. The Showers were poor in both Rooms; it took an eternity to get a sustainable flow at a reasonable temperature. The TV's; one didn't work at all and the one that did had only one English Channel Option with Subtitles, supposedly available in English; but not in reality. In my first Room I was bitten constantly; despite fresh bedding. So they gave me a new Room; the biting returned after just one night. The only redeeming feature was the Hotel's decent Location.

Very old premises, stained loos, doors, mattress. Shower rotten metal and with short handle. No sound proof. Curtains smaller than the window. Horrible coffee machine even for the paid (basic) breakfast. No kettle in the room. No earplugs for guest. No information available for turist locations.

Hotel was OK for the money, but there's a few things that let it down. Firtsly, there were no bar facilities at the pool and nowhere to get a drink - we weren't informed the pool bar would be closed. The pool on a few days was also rather dirty. The shower in the room was falling to pieces and didn't really function at all. Lastly, the staff whilst getting the bulk of issues dealt with, were clearly not happy with being there and had no enthusiasm or desire to work. For the money it's a bed and a roof, but that's it.

Pay for what you get

Within 2 minutes checking the room I requested to switch because the patio door would not lock, meaning anyone poolside could climb over and get into my room if I was asleep or out. Plug sockets almost came off the wall when I removed a plug, safety issue! Overall lack of life and cheapened the experience of a beautiful country. Can’t expect much more though as it was a very cheap stay

A entrada é um pouco confusa, chegamos a noite e por falta de iluminação ficamos perdidas, mas o hotel é bem reconhecido na região o que facilitou a localização depois de alguns minutos. O prédio é antigo, mas nada demais, a piscina não tem aquecimento e o quarto para pegar o controle é preciso deixar uma nota de 20 euros como garantia.

Perfect location in San Julian. Building is getting old, but everything works fine. I had few issues with the internet but the staff was quick to bring me solutions, which I really appreciated. Be ware of some house maid who enters your room even when the "do not disturb" sign is at the door.
