"Hotel is a lovely old hotel centrally located to lots of restaurants etc., Rooms beautiful and beds large and comfortable. Also pet friendly which was a plus. But the room was TOO HOT & even though thermostat there to adjust no adjustment made any difference. We finally had to figure out how to open the large old windows in the middle of the night to get some sleep. Bathroom is old & small but serviceable. For the price I think bathroom should be better. The check in is hectic. Check in time not till 4pm! And whatever systems they use take a long time. Long lines resulted. I would consider staying again but would probably prefer a hotel with more modern accommodations if I’m going to pay almost 400/night after fees, taxes and parking. "

"Homewood Suites is one of my favorite places to stay in Providence. Close to the universities and restaurants. There are always issues with noise in downtown Providence and they are one of the best at keeping it at a minimum."
