"From the moment we arrived the staff were warm and welcoming, they showed us around the hotel and stored away our luggage ready for check in later, as we were off out. When we went to our room, we was pleasantly surprised with the facilities and everything was spotless. We dined in the hotel and and the food was exceptional. "We spent a pleasant night here with a very spacious room and comfortable bed, although the bathroom felt a touch old-fashioned. Our evening meals, in the bar, were OK, nothing special, although service was quite slow, and for some reason we couldn’t use a Greene King drink voucher despite it being a Greene King pub ! "The propert was lovely, our room was modern and up to date. The beds and pillows were so comfortable and clean! The bathroom was so lovely and clean. I loved that you didnt have to go through the pub to get to the rooms although there was a walkway into the pub at the bottom of the steps if you wished too. Staff were friendly and very helpful. "
