Beautiful hotel with amazing views and a great atmosphere. The property is well maintained and the staff was wonderful. My only concern was the large number of iguanas and the amount of iguana droppings around the grounds. Addressing this issue would make the experience much better. Overall, a lovely stay. The villa was perfect for big family . Have everything and the laundry perfect.

Location was amazing. Close to town and easy access to other parts of the island. Pool area was great. Restaurants on site were ok. Slow service, ok food and lots of bug bites at dinner. Parking areas were also sometimes full so that was an adventure. 2 bedroom condo was a perfect size for a family of 4 with 2 teens.

We had a terrible stay at the Westin on St. John. Unfortunately, this luxury hotel gave away our room even after I had called to confirm that we would be one day late due to airplane issues and we understood that we may have to pay for that night. When we arrived on St. John and went to the desk, we were told that we had been a no-show and they gave away our room. Luckily there was one studio left, but we had paid for a two bedroom. We never received the difference in the price of the room. On top of that there were erroneous holds placed on my credit card for very large amounts. The desk staff didn't know why those holds were being placed and could not tell me when they would be removed. By the end of our trip, I had several K worth of charges placed on my credit card. We checked in twice a day to ask about them and try to clear it up. The manager always seemed to be busy and did not respond to all of our calls. By the final day, we were able to talk to the manager, who still was unable to tell us why these charges were being placed on our account, but did write us a letter stating that we were not responsible for those charges. Unfortunately, that was my travel credit card and it caused issues for the rest of our trip because I had less to spend. We were given a small resort credit for the inconvenience. This was unacceptable but at that point we just needed to be done with them. Awful experience and they lost out on a potential client for time share.

We found the staff very helpful and friendly throughout the resort. The room had great ammenities and for a studio, was laid out wonderfully. The kitchen was complete, clean, and refreshed. However, the bathroom fan did notturn on (and the electeic circuit panel was painted closed) the shower did not drain, and the shower tile needs some real work. I expected more from a Weston in this regard. We were only therw for three days, and so did not report these issues as we did not want maintenence in our room disrupting us. The beach was nice enough, but did not measure up to other beaches on the island. It did have plenty of seating under umbrellas and a good view, however. The pool was great!
