"This was our first time staying in their condos. We have stayed in their villas and they were clean and we had no problem but this condo was a different story! Let’s start with the horrible rotten smell walking to the elevator. Got to the room and the condo was lacking cleanliness to say the least. No dish soap in kitchen. No trash bags. Garbage can was running over and no bag to replace it with. Only one extra roll of toilet for 3 bathrooms. The body wash and conditioner in the shower...

"Although the property is old, it is well-maintained. The room had a slight musty odor when we opened the door , but after running the A/C for an hour or so, the odor was pretty much gone. However, the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were wonderful..very accommodating and helpful."

"It’s an old house and very well maintained it may be warmer than a new hotel but the overall experience makes up for it. Room was clean,the inn keeper was very helpful. And the house was quiet had convenient parking. Had a great time and definitely plan on going back."

"This hotel is not for us. Fixtures and furnishings are very old. Bed had a "fault line" just off center, top to bottom. TV was having issues with channels (because of a new company?) and many were unavailable. Pool got overshocked by the pool man on Friday AM and they closed it. No ice available for our cooler, no breakfast, just a huge disappointment for the price."

"The Blue Heron room is a suite! There is a comfortable bedroom,and a nice large sitting room. The room also opens to the 2nd floor porch with 2 large rocking chairs. This is an older property, and anyone with mobility issues should look elsewhere because there is no elevator. You will need to climb stairs. The staff was amazing. Chris and Ryan were wonderful and welcoming. I only stayed 2 nights but they were both extremely personable and very helpful."

"The room was clean and very convenient to downtown Apalachicola. The only major issues were that the AC did not work the entire time of our stay and we were locked out of the main entrance. We reported the AC problem and never received a call back or response. The digital lock had to be reset and finally we were able to access our room to check out."
