Instead of cancelling the booking from their end the host messaged me on trivago, since I was expecting a message anyway for the login code, and you have to login to read messages I left it. Host also alerted trivago it was double booked, who did not contact me either. Drove all the way to Dunedin with 2 kids, stranded and nowhere to stay. Spent $400 to stay at scenic circle for the first night, Dunedin was booked out for the second night so we had to drive...

"We loved the view - it was amazing. The unit was very nice, the only thing was blocked sink in the bathroom which we discovered as soon as we came. It looked terrible, we couldn’t use it. We told the stuff, but they were not very helpful, nothing was done about it. We had to stay with blocked sink with 2 small kids, very inconvenient."

"I’ve traveled extensively and this is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed at anywhere. The rooms are stunning. The whole hotel is stunning. There was a separate toilet and then a shower with sink that could be closed off with opaque glass doors. High quality amenities like Nespresso, slippers are robes. Truly an outstanding experience."
