"It was such an amazing experience. They made me feel welcome from the start with complementary cookies. The breakfast was delicious, and the space was beautiful. I will definitely come back!"

"Very convenient location and the room was very clean."

"We stay in 2 bedrooms suite. Room decoration is good clean and good space. Very good view and can open the door, winter for fresh air. I feel like stay in condimenium having kitchen and there are washing and drying machine in the hotel. The location is great near the attraction in the walking area. Near testaurant and mall. We will recommend our friend when visit Victoria."

"This hotel delivers so much more than its humble three star status would indicate. Absolutely packed with honest character and with details I appreciate, like windows that actually open, and an ‘old school’ telephone in the room. The check in and check out were seamless, the staff members were sharp, friendly, and pretty funny! Oh, the location: perfect for a traveller who wishes to go car-free. Very convenient to have a good restaurant in house, too."

"excellent! highly recommend"

"Amazing property but could use a bigger fitness facility & a hot tub in the pool area. Overall excellent place to stay."

"I had a wonderful stay at the Amethyst Inn for the Victoria Marathon weekend. Staying in a historic Victorian mansion added such a unique and relaxing charm to the trip. One of my biggest worries when traveling for a race is logistics, but the free forecourt parking made parking completely seamless and stress-free. The daily breakfast throughout my stay was absolutely exceptional—delicious, hearty, and served beautifully. What truly blew me away, however, was the incredible staff. When I...

"Check in was a bit confusing since we had to go to a different building, and then they were kind of snippy with us. But once we got checked in it was a great place to stay. The breakfast was amazing as well."

"I specifically chose this hotel because it had a hot tub. There website did not say the hot tub was out of service. My room didn’t have a bath tub, only a shower, and no microwave. I’m always cold and have stomache issues so not being able to have a bath or heat up my Magic Bag (bean bag) was not great. I ended up regretting choosing this hotel, not worth the amount of money."

"Very easy and enjoyable 1 night stay. Clean, comfortable. A little mix-up about payment as I had pre-booked/paid through Expedia but it appears all corrected without much hassle. The vending machine on floor 2 would not accept any (5) of my cards (debit or credit) by Tap and since that was the only option, I could not get anything. It was late, I was not going to fuss. My wife really liked the coffee options in the lobby - cappuccino, latte and espresso!"

"Loud in the hall"

"Front desk staff, Angie? Was rude. However, housekeeping was always quick. We also met a few “karens” at the pool., other than some of those minor inconvenience, it was a good location."
