"The room was clean, slightly outdated, but comfortable. The pool is heated and a decent size, there are some pebbles on the floor of the pool, could use resurfacing, not terrible though. There is an option for a time share presentation for those who are interested although the concierge was not pushy. The hotel is connected to Mr. Eds restaurant, tried several dishes, most was mid but they serve large portions. My room had a view facing Canal and the water, very nice with the curtains open at night. The bell staff was super helpful with luggage coming and going. There are some daily fees and a daily parking fee to be aware of, so take extra funds for that. Overall, the stay was good, and the area is close to where you want to be but not directly in the middle of the action. I would stay again."

"There was no airport shuttle, but the staff were amazing very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was not great at all, but for free food you can’t complain. I’m a person that drinks coffee throughout the day. I would have liked it if the coffee machine to have stayed on and filled but after 10 o’clock, no more coffee the worst thing about the room is that the toilet would not flush on its own. we had to continuously remove the lid to push the water pump down just for the toilet to flush. The location was safe right across the street from the hurricane Katrina Memorial was very nice, but if you’re looking for something closer to the French Quarter or the main streets, this is not it."

"I stayed for five nights, but only had housekeeping services once. I understand that they only clean every other day, but that meant at least two days of clean towels and changed trash. Not for me! Plus about a block in every direction from this hotel felt a little sketchy…there are hundreds of hotels in the French Quarter. Do yourself a favor and find one of those. "

"Staff was excellent. The first rooms I had were musty but we were able to switch rooms with no issue. The new rooms were much better. "

"Staff was nice. The sleeping area was not bad the problem was the bathroom. Shower was not clean at all. Soap scum all over the glass and bottom of shower. Looked like the floor hadnt been mopped in a long time. Door would not close properly and toilet kept running. Only stayed 1 night so it wasnt worth complaining in my opinion."
