Brilliant stay, staff were extremely accommodating, even with a small packet breakfast when I couldn’t make the official times. Location is wonderful room six directly overlooking the sea. Just a great experience all round.
A great find at a great price. A chill friendly hotel nestled into a cove. The restaurant provided us with our best dinner of our trip and excellent service.
Fantastic trip away. I’ve stayed here a couple of times previously- These guys are always very accommodating and happy to help.
Superb location for the beach and the new allocated car parking space system was fantastic
Considering the present circumstances everything was well organised and fully implemented, with all members of staff following, setting up the outside bar in the car park was great,
All information was sent before arrival about procedures being put in place,
Helpfulness and the fact I was able to order ahead an evening meal to be ready in the bar for me when I arrived at 9pm. That’s after the kitchen closed!
Stayed in 18 hotels over 3 weeks and this was one of my absolute favorites! Quaint, quiet, well-maintained and clean. Loved the separation from the pub so that there was no noise carried over. Friendly service. Nice amount of space in the room, which can be a rarity in UK hotels. Can't recommend enough!
Friendly helpful staff. Clean comfortable room. Food excellent. Only faults found Bathroom towel rail not very effective at warming room, shower rail falling off and soaps ridiculously high up on wall.
I stayed here for 6 nights with my dog, and ate in the pub twice with my parents (having drinks without food a few more times). Staff were absolutely amazing despite being incredibly stretched. So friendly and attentive, and service was quicker than we’d expected given the staff shortages. Food was good and my dad loved the ale they brew on site, and the location is brilliant - the sea and gorgeous beach was about a minute’s walk away and it was such a bonus to be able to swim every day and then wander back to my room to get changed. They have kept covid measures in place which is completely understandable given the recent surge in cases in Cornwall and the number of local people that said they’d been ill, all the staff wore masks so we did too when walking around. Great to have reserved parking included in the room rate, which was a real benefit so close to the beach. Great choice of breakfast and loved the coastal path walks towards Perranporth and Chapel Porth starting from the pub too. A lovely week!
Lovely stay with the staff being both friendly and knowledgeable. We were well looked after and the location was perfect. We will definitely be back with our dog next time.
