I guess you get what you pay for. I had a view of a wall in a small dirty passage way between building. The room was comfy and clean though. A few small things to improv - the coffee maker has a one foot power cord so I had to put it on the floor to plug it in. And there wasn't anything to stir the coffee...no stir stick or sppon...anything. But overall, it wasn't a bad visit for an overnight stay.

Access to the rooms is via a spiral staircase only, so very awkward to bring up large suitcases. Room was old and need of a good make over. Mould on window and required a wipe.

This hotel is "ok" across the board. Ok bed, ok bathroom, ok facilities. Many of the amenities were down when I was there.

The smoke alarm in another guests room starting going off at 7am - 9am on Saturday morning, the only morning we were hoping to sleep in. No one at the front desk to help. Had to call the emergency phone number to rectify the noise. The bed/matress was old and found hairs in the sheets. The ice bucket was full of dust

The rooms are very quaint. The bathroom and pretty much everything needs some updating. There was some black mold in the bathroom above the tub/shower that needs addressing. It was a nice one day. Stop, stay one night and go kind of place. There is a great restaurant below the hotel, and is the only high-end restaurant that I could find in the area and the food was awesome. Highly recommend the restaurant.

The room that we were staying is tilted and the toilet is leaking. The bathroom sink is always getting plugged. The coffee that they use for the coffee Maker is not working. The plug for the coffee maker we have to put on the floor because it doesn't reach the outlet. The chair that is in the room is a folding chair. So very , very basic and not that comfortable.

Dude, the bathtub and toilet was terrible! Im not sure when it was cleaned last. In addition, there were holes in the wall and exposed floorboards, and 2x4 wood frame. I have stayed here before a few years ago in a different room and it wasn't great but its what you would expect for the price. If I would have seen a picture of the room I was going to stay in, on this trip (Jan 2024), I would have went to a different hotel or slept in my car. Im probably never coming back to this hotel it was a DUMP! I wish I could include my pictures of the room in this review! The room was hilariously bad!!!

Upon checking in, had to go back to the front desk, which isn’t staffed as towels were dirty absolutely no heat in the bedroom only offered a blanket. Had to ask for a heater instead stay away at all costs.

A little on the dungy side but for the price its a great stay. Very clean and quiet, parking was easy and on sight! Liked having to have a code to get into the building so no one could just walk in. Stairs were annoying with luggage but Overall, a good experience

An older place I assume renovated recently. Very quiet for xmas eve. Breaker kicked out twice. Only one appliance can run at a time. Mgr was not in to reset it at 7am. Overall, good for the price.

The location downtown is great. The price was very reasonable. It’s an older building. There’s a funky smell in the hallways, maybe from the restaurant below or maybe the carpets need redoing. The room was quaint. Had a different funky to it. Bed was comfortable. Could hear the room next door and people in hallway very clearly. It is the perfect place to find a bed at a reasonable price. I was in town for work and finished late and was out by 9am, so for my needs it was perfect.

We didn’t really fell safe staying here The hotel is older in the older part of town The room was clean and so was the bathroom The manager was friendly and helpful. We were on the second floor and they didn’t have an elevator so you had to walk up two floors to your room.I would pay the extra to stay somewhere else.

This particular room had no hooks, hangers, closet, dresser or desk. Not even a nightstand. Window blinds were missing, just the top portion of the mechanism there, so there's just a privacy shade. Great room darking solution 🙄, no blinds for the bathroom window. Other rooms did have dressers, microwave, A/C unit, etc. Unless you just need a bed and bathroom, pass on room 208 at all costs. We plan on another trip to Squamish next year but will stay elsewhere.
