"The room was clean enough. But the beds were uncomfortable. The air conditioner sounded like a jet engine. The staff members who greeted us were friendly, even when the computer slowed down as they were trying to check us in. The elevators had a terrible odor. The location of the hotel was convenient - there were plenty of restaurants nearby and it was close to the main routes we needed to access for our trip. Friendly staff maintaining the breakfast area. The food was fine and there was a nice...

"Second visit within a week and we had issues with our room being clean."

"I have to say, this was one of the nicest hotels we've stayed at when just needing an off the highway stop over! The place was bright and clean right when you walked in the lobby. The woman behind the desk was pleasant, checked us in and then informed us their coffee and drink station was for 24-hour use! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and we really liked the bench/storage seating with the hooks above them. Very convenient. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Knew nothing about this hotel nor Staunton other than it was located near the southern end of Shenandoah. When looking for places to stay after our 3 SE National Parks excursion, I happened to find this hotel. What a delightful treasure! After hiking all day and knowing the next day we had an 8hr trip home, we were so pleased to be welcomed by the coziness of the hotel. Everything about it was comfortable! The staff, eating the delicious chili served in the bistro by the warm fireplace, and...

"The room was had few problems and that switched us to new room they solved our issue. Great customer service"

"Room very clean and it was quiet."

"It would have been great to have a dining room so we could have enjoyed dinner on premises. Otherwise it was all very special and a unique inn. We may be back."

"Comfortable beds, pretty clean and well-maintained, and decent breakfast options! Staff was very friendly."

"Rooms were clean. Even rooms get to hear the train go by during the night."

"Good for the price"

"This is located in downtown Staunton and it’s a great location. The parking is shared with other businesses and residences and can be challenging if arriving in the evening. This is not a place for anyone with mobility issues. Lots of stairs. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The tv was small and in a sitting room with two less than ideal chairs. There was no ice available. The HVAC worked well. The WiFi did not. The breakfast was serviceable but nothing special. The staff was...

"The walls were so thin I could hear the conversations in the next room. When they took a shower at 1am it sounded like they were in my bathroom. The one nice thing was the location was very walkable."

"Great"

"What a find. This place is magical. Super nice. Only 8 suites. We were the only ones there. Great views of the mountains. Super relaxing"

"Great stay!!"
