"This property was perfect for a concert at Van Andel Arena, directly across the street so you could walk there. Parking for the hotel was $33 per day so I thought that was a little ridiculous seeing as your paying to stay there so it should have been included in the hotel rate. The breakfast bar was great, so many options to choose from, good food. "

"I did not feel safe staying here due to the environment. There was blood and stains on various parts of the room, like walls, bed, curtains (I took images), there are patches of paint missing on the walls, the smell/odors in the halls and room are nauseating and overwhelming of smoke and other smells. The lady that checked me in & checked me out (about 15 minutes after I checked in) was very nice and patient. Listened to my experience. Been trying to get a status on my refund, Expedia has been calling them and no answer & I’ve been messaging the hotel after they said they would release back my funds and they do not respond. "
