"Breakfast was exceptional "

"Easy to find by following the signs from the t2 car park. Rooms are good, typical airport hotel rooms. The dark decor showed every scuff mark but generally well maintained. The restaurant was good but pricey (but I suppose normal for airports). We stayed in a room overlooking the atrium. It was quiet and fine for a one night stay. Will stay again."

"Parking very easy till we booked in and were asked to pay £14, this was not mentioned on the hotel advert with Expedia nor on the email confirming the booking. After some debate with reception the guy borrowed our phone to show us where it was, not under this hotel but scrolled down another half dozen pages and showed us it the parking charges in the general terms and conditions, while scrolling saw the booking charge had dropped by £20, so suggested they took the parking charge out of this,...

"Arrived late at night and had trouble finding a car park space. Access around the building is one way but to exit you have to go through a locked gate and you need a code - as a guest who has just arrived you don't have this info. I called the hotel 3 times whilst stuck at the gate and no one answered. Luckily a guest walked past and gave me the code. Went around again but this time went in the multistorey up a level. "The staff were very good. the hotel itself could do with a bit of TLC. I just needed a bed to sleep in so was adequate for my needs. if you want a budget friendly hotel to stay in before heading to Manchester airport which is less than 10 minutes away this is the hotel for you. There is free wi fi but I did find it kept dropping the connection every 30 - 50 mins. there is on site paid parking at very reasonable priced, I stayed for 3 nights in the end and total of £21."

"Amazing 17th century coaching Inn. Fabulous room and great bathroom. Lovely dinner in the restaurant and so nice to sit in the lounge (with no tv), and enjoy the music and play cards. It was a wonderful stay, and the bonus packed lunch with brilliant! "

"Staff were excellent. Food very good. Appreciated group of 10 having separate area for meals. Not keen on the bath in the bedroom, nowhere reachable to put soap or shampoo. No washbasin in the toilet. Would be better to make shower room with toilet. Bath not easy to get in and out."
