"The hotel looks good once you arrive. It is well situated and the front desk staff is friendly. Rooms are basic. Bathroom had hair on the floor. Blankets were stained. But the worst thing was the lack of the basics. We were four people and had only two towels. We had to ask three times before towels were brought to us (took 3 hours). The next day, we ran out of toilet paper as it was not refilled when room was made. Another two calls were needed (took nearly two hours). Breakfast is decent but badly organized. Breakfast staff were rude but overwhelmed. The breakfast layout is not logical, so a long lind forms rapidly. Overall, a disappointing stay."

"We stayed here one night before our trip to St Maarten and then two nights once we got back from that trip, so three nights total. We travelled to Montreal from Toronto on the VIA Rail. We specifically booked this hotel partly for the shuttle to the airport, but the shuttle needs to be booked in advance. Our train was delayed so we checked in the night before our flight at midnight and were told there was no more space on any shuttle from 4am-8am so we had to pay for an uber anyway. The listing also said breakfast, which to me sounds like breakfast is included, but you have to pay for breakfast and for example, a bowl of cereal was $10. Otherwise, the rooms are pretty decent for the most part. Ours lost power for an entire day and despite asking about it in the morning, nobody came to fix it until the evening. It wasn’t an issue within the room (like the gfci switch). It was something with the actual panel outside our room which required a member of staff to open with a key. It was an easy fix in the end so it was a bit frustrating nobody attended to it until the evening. Last, and I don’t blame the hotel for this, but the people staying above us were extremely loud. Once back from our trip, the guests above started slamming down on the floor (our ceiling) from about 5:30am - 6:30am. My wife and I both woke up and wondered what on earth they were doing up there. We asked front desk who said they checked in at 5:30am so we hoped it was just a one night thing, but it wasn’t. "
