"The room was very clean and bed was super comfortable. It would have been nice to have more than one luggage stand for our luggage to keep things off the floor. The stay overall was very good."

"Excellent location across the street from the beach with partial ocean view from the front deck. The property felt clean and had lots of stuff to use in the kitchen which made meals easy. Staff was super communicative and easy to reach for any questions. The backyard was beautiful and well mantained, felt like a tropical hideaway."

"The hotel staff was kind and helpful! We will be staying here again!"

"Clean room, great service and stay"

"Great location, great staff!"

"They had a little store inside the next to the lobbywhich was cool. The guy at the front office was nice enough. It’s super close to everything at the village. Great location. They had cut the tops off of some of the old palms and made totem poles out of them. Really nice touch. Lots of tropical plants on the property. It’s a smaller property but seemed to have all the things. Except dedicated parking. They only have a handful of parking spots and the rest is public. We stayed during...

"The room was spacious. The housekeeping services were excellent. The outside grounds were well maintained. Parking was free and easy. Wifi was good speed. Location is optimal."

"Wow, I felt like an absolute princess when I stayed here! All of the staff were so helpful and kind and made me feel right at home! The room was beyond spotless and had everything I could ever wish for! I absolutely loved the private patio! If you can get the studio right on the beach do it for sure! It is amazing! Also, definitely book some time in the hot tub right after sunset...it was gorgeous! I loved all of the amenities, especially the beach chairs! They thought of everything for the...

"Hi Trevor. The property was amazing with an awesome view right across from the ocean couldn’t ask for a better room. The room was nice and comfy with killer views of the ocean. The amenities were great had free, surfboards, boogie boards and chairs to use and also had a nice deck with plenty of seating and a fire pit and a barbecue. I’m from Cali so I know the area well, it was just nice to be able to stay right on the ocean for our vacation and enjoy the familiarity of the area with my wife....

"Loved it!!"

"In the heart of downtown and walking distance to everthing. Less than 10 min drive to camp Pendleton main gate."

"It was a great place to stay"

"The pool was closed by the state … in the middle of a heat wave, I definitely would’ve been nice to use it."

"Our room Pelican Cove was decent. There was no AC, just fans in the windows. We could not open the blinds to let some air in because we were on the first floor. The advertise that breakfast is provided, but it really is just coffee and granola bars. I will say it was fairly convenient to stay there for the convenience of walking into Carlsbad village. There really was no one to contact about any issue you might have. We were very grateful that Alfredo was on the premises as he was able to...

"Facility is overdue for remodeling. Even hangers are already rusty."
