"The perfect eastern Sierra base camp. Epic restaurant and general store."

"Nothing."

"Up on arriving in my room, I found that the bed including the sheets and pillows was completely dirty, as if someone had just left after sleeping in it without the room being cleaned. When I called front desk to report this unacceptable situation, I was informed that the hotel was fully booked and that I would have to come down to collect new sheets and pillow cases to change the bedding myself. Having to handle housekeeping duties after paying for accommodation is appalling. Front desk...

"Beautiful facility! Staff was very welcoming, food was wonderful. Room was lovely with exceptional amenities of very high quality. Highly recommend."

"My family and I had two rooms on a Sunday night. Cold for October, about 35 degrees, and windy. Good decor and a fair amount of space! Spent some time dealing with hotel problems. The hotel Wi-Fi worked occasionally in some places. Start the heating up as soon as you check into the room. In each room, the clerk had to switch the controller on and off to fix the heating. Liked the cosy upstairs room but we could not open the door when it was unlocked. Had to leave it unlocked when we went out. We...

"Great location, nice staff."

"I was impressed with the view and some of the furnishings at first glance. However, later that evening when I went to bed, I discovered dirt stains on one of the pillows and on the sheets! I’m a frequent traveler for work and had never encountered such a filthy bed! I has to send my husband to pick up clean bedding from the reception desk which was not ideal. It was very uncomfortable to sleep in that bed even after changing the sheets. A clean bed should be essential, not optional."

"a little pricey for a midweek off season stay . Might have just been the TV in our room but the channel selection was terrible."

"Ok"

"Kimberly was extremely helpful and friendly she is one in a million we love our stay because of her."

"The location of the lodging is ideal, easy to navigate to the major hiking trails and parks in the area; the facility clearly has some age but it is very well kept, clean and spacious; we particularly appreciate a full size fridge and freezer in the kitchen, which was very helpful for heating up foods at the end of a long day of hiking. We didn’t mind the rusty vibe, overall, it was a nice stay."

"breakfast was mediocre carpet needs updating and so are the furnitures lobby needs to be more presentable, furnitures are dated"

"Impressive size condo living room, kitchenette and dining area with nice layout. Bathroom size is tight but acceptable for single user (versus couples sink or separate shower from toilet). Very large beds that are very comfortable. Overall room very tidy and nice. Hallways, elevators and carpets are very dated however and can use a refresh."

"The hostel is very loud, the doors on every room close very loudly. Even though there are signs asking guests to close their doors quietly, nobody does. So you hear them all night, at all hours. Very old carpet, paint, everything is in need of an update. It was a good price, but would not go back."
