"The staff were very friendly and informative. We stayed in the historic train carriage. It was a fantastic experience. Warm and cosy. Bed was comfortable, the shower was a fabulous experience (in the middle of the train) and the water was hot!! Breakfast was included and plentiful. A really lovely experience!!"

"Less than 1 km from Punakaiki rocks. We rented a 1 bedroom cabin, it was more like a beautiful little home. Well supplied kitchen, sofa in the living room, separate bed and bath area and a laundry sink. A wonderful porch with table and chairs and an outside grill and picnic table. We had a wonderful meal at the restaurant. I highly recommend Punakaiki Beachfront Motels cabins. I wish we could have stayed longer. Very large and welcoming living areas. "

"Te Mahuru is a most exceptional, beautiful, very clean and overall, a perfect place to stay. Jen went out of her way to be accommodating and we give thanks t the highest rating possible. The gardens and views were spectacular, the hot tubs were lovely and very clean and the breakfast was delicious. Homemade bread each morning and plenty of great choices. The patio off our room was very private and comfortable for sitting with a cup of tea gazing at the beautiful mountains in the background....
