Breakfast orders are taken the evening before, and my order was delivered to the dining room at exactly the time ordered (it was hot, fresh and delicious). There are cereals etc already in the room. "This is an amazing place to stop , very clean , warm and everything you need to have a good stay , it was -3 when i stopped but was warm n snug , tesco and lidl at the end of the road. I will definitely be stopping again when im up this way "

"The only little complaint we had was the checking in process. We were told we’d get an email telling us how to check in which we never got. Also there seemed to be a difference between the info on hotels dot com and the places own website. But other than that, the room was lovely, well equipped, clean, comfortable. The bathroom was amazing and spotless. Would definitely recommend "

"Fantastic hotel really with loads of character set in lovely grounds running down to the river. Small personal homely feel not a bland corporate Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Probably one of the best spa facilities that I haves ever visited the beer spar was a first for me and greatly enjoyed thanks to Macy for the great back and neck massage. Evening meal food was fantastic."
