"We recently stayed at Bruce Peninsula Motel and were shocked at the level of cleanliness. The washroom was completely uncleaned — there was even a used tissue with a squashed mosquito stuck to the door, which was never removed. The overall hygiene standards were unacceptable, and it made the stay very uncomfortable. Definitely not worth the money, and I would not recommend this place to anyone."

"Room was clean and very impressed with the room. Room rate was great but definitely won’t be paying the July /August rates….very overpriced for that time. Couple complaints, fridge gurgled a lot and when furnace ran it was like a rocket taking off….very loud. Was quite surprised with the appliances based on the hotel being very new!!"

"Our trip started with a beautiful greeting at the front door and a quick and easy check-in whisking us up to our room with our belongings. The room was beautiful and well prepared as well as extremely clean. We were excited to use the pool and found that all the amenities within the location were beautiful and exceeded our expectations. The staff are really what make this place, from the gal who was vacuuming the rugs to the managers. Everyone in between is so kind and courteous. Lots of options...

"Parking was easy. Room was very clean, odor free, and seemed to be newly renovated. Did not have coffee maker. The walls must be very thin as we were disturbed all night by noisy guests in the adjacent room. To their credit, they did quiet down, but continued talking all night, which we could here through the walls. No sleep for us."

"This is a budget property with outstanding location. The pictures are correct regarding the views and the distance to the private beach. That being said, the rooms are small, clean and parking is close to the room. I will say that if you are ok with a small clean room ..then you will be fine. Check in and out was smooth and if you pay by debit, there is no upcharge. Internet is good. The views are very good."

"You get what you pay for - a basic room. Check in was easy and the staff were nice. Cons were that the noise bleeds heavily from the road out front and the hallways. I couldn't turn off the porch light either and the light really comes through the blinds. There was also a spat between other patrons at about 1am (that can't really be blamed on the motel) but it was quite loud and kept me awake. "The room was very nice - large and well appointed. The bed was really comfortable. We had a lovely continental breakfast in the morning and were able to sit in the dining room overlooking the bay. Staff was excellent. My only concern was with poor lighting in the parking lot and I did pass that along in the morning. We came in later in the evening and it was very difficult to see where we were walking. Probably not an issue in the busy season when the restaurant is open and people are out...
