"One of the Best Hospitality Experiences Ever Our stay at Amarina Hotel was truly excellent from start to finish. Guest Relations Mr. Rahim followed up with us from the first day of booking, which made a great first impression. Check-in was smooth, and we were generously upgraded to a room with pool and sea view — thanks to Mariam at reception. The aqua park is perfect for kids and adults and is heated, which is a big advantage. The main pool is also heated and spacious. The beach is clean, sandy, and well maintained. Pool bar service was excellent — thank you Khaled. Room service was very good, and the creative bed decorations were a lovely surprise for the kids. Food variety is outstanding, with different cuisines offered daily. The Italian restaurant was amazing, the Indian restaurant was good, and the Asian restaurant was okay. Special thanks to Executive Chef Ahmed for his extra care, including a lunch bag on our travel day and a fruit basket. Appreciation also to Moustafa, Moataz, and Ahmed for their friendliness and great service in the restaurants. Overall, the hospitality was exceptional with zero issues during our stay. This will definitely not be our last visit. Special thanks again to Mr. Rahim for making our vacation unforgettable."

We were a bit sceptical about Hurghada after reading some bad reviews and people’s scaremongering, but we had the best experience which exceeded our expectations. "Title: Appalling Experience – Unsafe, Unhygienic & Completely Misleading My stay at Kaktus Somabay was a disaster from the moment I checked in on November 27, 2025. The first room was covered in thick dust, to the extent that my new iPad cover became damaged within minutes. When I reported it, management responded with denial and disrespect, insisting it “did not happen here.” Their attitude alone was unacceptable. After being moved three times, every room had the same unhygienic dust problem. I developed allergic reactions, including itchy eyes and a sore throat. One of the rooms had a cracked mirror, which staff openly admitted they were already aware of—a major safety hazard that they simply ignored. Two bathroom doors didn’t even close. My entire first day was wasted dealing with room changes and staff negligence. Then the power cut three times, including once while I was showering, leaving me in total darkness and nearly causing an accident. Add to that a persistent smell of gas and paint, which made staying in the room unbearable. To make matters worse, the hotel is blatantly misrepresented online. The so-called “superior suite” was merely two connected rooms, the beach required a 10-minute drive, and the advertised pools and amenities were nothing like the photos—tiny, unusable, nonexistent in some cases. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The property is unsafe, unclean, and falsely advertised.Strongly advise travellers to avoid this hotel"
