Forbedringspotensiale

Historiske omgivelser, men for mye innslag av Ikea. Sov veldig dårlig i en ukomfortabel seng samt når den ene snudde seg så hoppet den andre. Rommet hadde også et lite te-kjøkken hvor kjøleskapet durte natten gjennom. Ser vel ikke helt hensikten med denne fasiliteten på et hotellrom. Rommet hadde en antikk reisekiste, flott krystallkrone og smakfulle farger som gjorde rommet koselig. Do&vask var så lave at man skulle tro det var innredet for barn. Dusjen var fulll av mugg, æsj. Regner også med at hotell i dette prissjiktet, ikke har såpedispensere, men toalettartikler av kvalitet. Speilet på soverommet var så høyt plassert at man kun så panneluggen. Internetttilkobling var nær sagt umulig! Her er det forbedringspotensiale. Frokosten var helt gjennomsnittlig. Det som var positivt var omgivelsene og personalet, spesielt han som i striregn hjalp oss med å vise oss rommet og få opp bagasjen.

Interessant plass med mye historie. Imponerende at noen har tatt tak i stedet og bevart det ved hjelp av kommersiell drift. Vi fikk et helt hus i stedet for hotellrom. Noen synes sikkert det er OK, men vi liker ikke å bo blant private eiendeler (møbler, nips, kjøkkenutstyr, toalettsaker osv). Det er en av grunnene til at vi bor på hotell og ikke AirBnB. De leier altså hus av privatpersoner og bruker det som en del av hotellet i tillegg til sine egne rom. God mat og flott frokost.

Amazing experience in Sogndalstrand

A hidden gem in the south of Norway, where an enthusiastic hotel owner and her staff have created a fantastic hotel in traditional buildings in the old Sogndalstrand harbour. This is not the place for glamour and beaches, but easy access to the sea, a fantastic and well-preserved neighbourhood, and excursions in the fascinating vicinity. I'd love to come again :-)

Ikke hyggelig.

Oppskrytt og dyrt. Kronglete og upraktisk. Sammenrasket gamle og halvgamle gjenstander gir ingen atmosfære når det ikke er gjort med stil. Subbet bad der en mann ikke kan stå i dusjen pga skråtaket. Ingen andre spisesteder, bare treretters meny uten valg. Ga en følelse av bondefangeri. Grei og blid betjening.

Fantastisk atmosfære - utmerket komfort!

Vi hadde et herlig opphold med god mat og drikke, herlig rom og møtte et fantastisk hyggelig personale! At vi var der på årets to våteste dager, kan vi vanskelig laste noen for. Anbefales på det sterkeste til alle som ønsker fred og ro og avslapping. En virkelig utmerket representant for Cittaslow-konseptet. Det var veldig hyggelig å få presenterer hotellets og stedets historie på kvelden av en av hotellets eiere!

Utmerket hotell i historiske og sjarmerende omgive

Veldig god mottakelse ved ankomst. Ble av personalet fulgt og anvist rommet. Fint rom innredet i stil tilpasset arkitektur og omgivelser. Meget gode senger og sengetøy. Komfort +. Lommelykt på nattbordet. Sikkerhet +. Veldig god standard på renhold. Nydelig middag ( jordskokksuppe, torsk, creme brulet) i restauranten. Veldig imøtekommende og hyggelig personale. Sjelden å oppleve bli ivaretatt så godt som vi gjorde. Huset rød- og hvitvin kan virkelig anbefales.

Sinnsro i vakre Sogndalstrand

Dette hotellet har alt! Beliggenheten i kulturhistoriske omgivelser og mektig vestlandsnatur med brusende hav og bratte fjell. Personalet er bærere av en smittende indre ro, hjelpsomhet og diskré tilretteleggelse. Rommet var stort, rent og pent. Frokosten var utsøkt med ureiste og kortreiste godbiter. Bedre blir det ikke!

Flott opphold i Sogndalstrand

Vi hadde et fantastisk hyggelig opphold på hotellet i anledning Strandaspelet. Denne kombinasjonen kan virkelig anbefales. Rommet på hotellet var romslig og smakfullt innredet, og utsikten mot elven med laksevakingen var helt unik. Personalet var svært hyggelig og imøtekommende og frokosten var utmerket. Vi gjentar gjerne denne turen!
