"Breakfast was excellent. Friendly staff. Great location"

"Nice room, nice property. Decent location, close to Queens campus. Breakfast was average."

"Location, location, location! We walked everywhere. Breakfast choices were very good and I appreciated healthy items on the buffet."

"Everything was great about this hotel. The rooms were recently renovated and are very modern and welcoming. This hotel is also in a great location right downtown!"

"No shampoo in the dispenser. turned on the heat and the fan ran all night. Only 2 packa of coffee, 1 decaf, 1 regular. Disappointing!"

"Loved everything about the Inn and Kingston! Will be back!"

"Everything was excellent... Room is very clean, staff was very nice esp . the receptionist and the breakfast staff, very helpful! Breakfast was good and parking is easy. Thank you , highly recommended."

"Clean room, great view of the water and will be back."

"We had a great stay here. We've stayed at other Howard Johnson properties and I think this was the best one. Stylish room, immaculately clean room and front office, and a nice comfy bed. We appreciated the free coffee machine in the office and the many pamphlets and guides to the city and its activities. A particular standout was Pam at the front desk. She was delightful, personable, helpful, cheerful, and warm. We felt like we were being greeted by family. A gem of a person."

"I had booked and prepaid for two nights at this hotel through Expedia specifically to attend my 20-year graduation reunion at Queen’s University. When I arrived at the hotel, instead of being checked into the room I had reserved, I was handed an envelope and told to take it across the street to the Residence Inn, where I was apparently expected to stay instead. This was done without any advance notice or communication whatsoever. I was told that there had been burst pipes in the building and...

"This hotel is very rundown. Not in a very good spot in town. We stayed there because we went to a show with the slush puppy place. When we got back to the room after the show, we were looking for a place to eat, and there was nothing open around where we were ended up having to call for pizza because there was no open restaurants around us and walking distance. So location isn’t very great. Also, there was quite a few rough people out at night didn’t feel like very safe part of town. The...

"Wonderful place with lots of room, comfortable bed and nice hot tub"

"The room was very nice and spacious. The hotel was clean and despite there being a lot of guests it was very quiet. Breakfast was passable. It was not above average. The location of the hotel meant that you had to drive everywhere. Nothing was in walking distance. Regardless, the parking was free, the staff was friendly and we had a very nice time."

"I really like this property. Owners seem attentive to detail, although an older building it is always clean and has a comfy mattress. My fourth time using this motel."

"Hotel and rooms were just like in the pictures. Staff was super nice!"
