Lovely

Beautiful quiet place with rooftop balcony of great size, good ventilation and spacious kitchen area. Bathroom a bit tight for some but very nice. Lovely.

My partner and I had a fantastic week in Apartment 4. The room itself was perfect for the stay with everything we needed. Check in was quick and easy, and done online in advance so we were ready to go as soon as we arrived. The roof top terrace was perfect for relaxation and the views were stunning, both day and night. The building is stunning with fantastic decor throughout which made the stay feel luxurious. Small issues that didn't affect us, but other international guests might need to be aware of are; the shower water is heated by a water heater switch, which needs to be turned on 20-30 mins before you plan to have a shower. Also, the kitchen sink is not connected to any hot water, so we found ourselves pouring water boiled in the kettle into the sink to help with washing up dishes. The location within Sliema was also perfect, with many shops, bars, waterfronts, ferries, buses and even surrounding towns within walking distance. Overall, we LOVED this place and will definitely rebook this accommodation if we visit Malta in the future.

Room 4 - 60 steps to room as no lift. Should have been classed as studio apartment. Double bed pushed up against wall so difficult getting in or out. Only place to sit is either bed or two wobbly dining chairs. Basic crockery eg two plates, cutlery, no hot water for washing cups etc and no plug in sink either. No drawers anywhere in room to put clothes and very basic open wardrobe, definitely not suitable for a 9 night stay. Sofa bed extremely hard and just looks at a non appealing covered window. Only one bath and one hand towel supplied for 9 days ! Never seen a shower base so small and definitely needs all metal fittings replaced as rusty eg Mirror, bin and shower pipes as well as dirty shower curtain. Only toiletries were hand soap. Beware of shower mixer as easily scolded. Outside table and benches unusable as so hot to sit and no outdoor cushions. Room below was occupied by 4/5 young boys who loved coming home at 4am making as much noise as possible slamming doors. When we first arrived we asked for bedding for the sofa bed which was delivered and bed made. The room was clean but needs an overhaul. We left the room a few days early as felt we had suffered enough

Disliked: Staff & service
Disappointing service. Cold shower for two nights with maintenance men continually coming in to resolve so it wasn’t particularly relaxing. Some cleanliness issues - cigarettes left in the peg basket with broken pegs, not full set of cutlery or plates, and duvet cover and dirty duvet left on the door handle when I asked to make up the sofa bed. Not worth the money, wouldn’t stay again or recommend for a ‘luxury’ break as it’s standard at best.
