"Graves mountain lodges is cozy, down to earth and has plenty to do. An area rich in history and natural beauty with none of the commercialization of typical resorts. We loved our cabin stay at wild wind - a refurbished old school house along the river. Very peaceful and had everything you could need. Great location close to Shenandoah and Rapidan River. "My husband and children raved about this hotel. The grounds are beautiful. The room was spacious for a family of 5, and staff was welcoming. We asked for a roll away bed and extra towels. After eating at the restaurant, which was also fantastic, we found both requests in our room waiting. I’d definitely come back to this hotel. It updated and the service is excellent."

"Wonderful room, with a huge, comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. The check-in was very quick as we had dinner reservations at the nearby (1-block walk) Inn at Little Washington. The breakfast space was warm and welcoming, with a fruit and granola parfait, followed by a tasty quiche. The White Moose Inn hit all the high points and certainly will be a repeat reservation for a future trip!"
