"Lovely stop on the way to Cornwall. Gorgeously comfortable bed and linen. We arrived exhausted from a long transatlantic flight with 2 cats and the owner was so kind to us. She saved our bacon as we honestly could not have driven further! Superb breakfast and we will definitely return 💜"

"Caro the host was lovely and friendly and very hospitable. The old Manor House is beautiful set in rolling countryside. The bedroom was large, beds were comfortable and good shower. "When we walked in the room at 9.45pm the room was freezing cold, we found the radiators and turned the heating on but at 11pm the heating went off and didn’t come on again until the morning which meant we was cold all night. "The property met our needs well. They gave excellent communication about our arrival questions eforehand. Things to be aware. It's down a very long drive so best use sat nav to locate the turning. There isn't a bar as far as we could tell. More guest house than hotel, which is fine. Its minimally staffed at the front desk so best to call ahead if youre arriving late. "Had a lovely stay at the Ammonite guest house. The hosts were very attentive. The parking was either just outside or a space for a car around the back. Warning, it's a very small lane, wing mirrors in! 😂. The breakfast was very filling. Lots to choose from. Would definitely book again. "

"Arrived at the hotel after a 4 hour journey, pub was closed. Called the number, member of staff said they’d come down and let us in but then called back 2 minutes later to say no room available. There was also no parking available despite the website saying it has parking available. Still haven’t heard anything about cancellation or refund. Do not recommend!"
