"The hotel was in a great location, with a short walk to the Harbor and Old Town. The staff was excellent, and we really enjoyed the view from the rooftop pool/bar area. Parking can be tough around the hotel due to nearby construction, but we'd highly recommend!"

"Our stay at the Royal Sun Hotel was perfect. The room with the sea view and balcony was of a high standard, clean and comfortable. The Hill restaurant, where we ate breakfast each day, had a stunning view overlooking the old port and the sea, and was a delight to sit at each morning. The breakfast choice and quality was probably the best we’ve ever experienced. The pool was great with that brilliant view and plenty of chairs and sunbeds to choose from.

"We felt in love with the hotel, the room, the neighbourhood and especially with the stuff (Ayu, Bohdana and Abdel). The do a very good job, they have such a beautiful soul with a special heart! "We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The hotel was spotless – everything felt perfectly clean and well maintained. Our room had an incredible view, and the private beach was such a highlight – peaceful, beautiful, and never too crowded.
The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They were always helpful, friendly, and especially accommodating with our baby, which made the trip even more enjoyable and stress-free.
The location is also fantastic – just a quick 10-minute walk...
"Es hat einfach alles gepasst. Tolles Hotel, die Pools, das Essen, das Personal, die Zimmer.. Im „Ort“ ist nicht viel los, aber man kommt sehr gut mit dem Bus nach Chania. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und empfehlen das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiter. :) "
"Lovely room with the most incredible views from the balcony. Considering how loud and busy the harbour is the sound proofing muffled it well, but I’d still recommend ear plugs for sleeping.
Breakfast is a short walk away and has a nice buffet with absolutely lovely staff. The front desk is a few doors up at the sister hotel, and again the staff are very helpful and welcoming.
Housekeeping was superb, do remember to pop a sign on the door so they know you’re ready for the room to be serviced.

"Such a lovely stay here. Everyone was so friendly, we stayed with our 5 month old and they were very accommodating.
Great breakfast. Lovely little pool out the back for morning sun, reasonably close to walk to different places to eat and the old town is circa 25 mins walk away. "
