The property itself is large, the room was spacious. However the whole hotel is fairly run down and could do with a refresh. The dining options at the hotel are pretty limited (though the buffet was good). The location was good for us, close to the zoo and nature walks and Yishun mall which was a good size. Nothing is too far in Singapore.

Our room was located on the first flore and very very humid. The carpet was smelling a little. The price was good for Singapore and the our kids enjoyed the pools. We also liked having a big grocery Fairprice) onsite to buy our breakfasts there and save on restaurants costs. Free shuttle every hour to get to the closest train station is very convinient. We enjoyed our stay.

The entire establishment, in addition to offering a golf course, offers an extensive array of family activities. Our children enjoyed the fun pool, 1 of three offered (bunker and lap pool for other two) which conveniently had a Subway right at the area. Most convenient was the Fair Price market located downstairs where the shuttle was located which took us to the subway terminal (plenty of Hawker centers nearby and mall when you get off). This allowed us to go south Marina Bay Area (hotel is on north end) and downtown (blue line) to Chinatown and Little India where all tourist areas could be found at very reasonable prices ($3 USD to-fro). It took us three line connections and less than an hour to get from the hotel to Changi airport upon our departure day. With transportation being orderly and structured like in Tokyo, getting around with our family was not o my convenient but easily feasible. The hotel was truly a getaway from the hustle and bustle of the south side, offering an extensible spacious room and own private patio overlooking the golf course.

It was comfortable. Room big and great view of golf course and the reservoir lake. Could see the beautiful sunrise every morning from the room. Location is very convenient with free parking for 2 cars, and shuttle to mrt. There's eateries at the club and very useful to have the big supermarket. Easy to walk out to explore too. Only wish there were parking areas with the parking Scan Code in the club area itself instead of having to walk out to the HDB estates racks so it would be more convenient to just get the anywheel or hello bikes and cycle out and in to anywhere nearby.

Surrounding was tranquil and 50m swimming pool an advantage. Room spacious but dated and bathroom smelled. Staffs at reception were unfriendly and unhelpful. Be prepared to get your own luggage trolley to lug your bags up your rooms and vice versa; no help from staffs at all. No hospitality during our 4days stay there. Been a guest of OCC for years but recent stay was a major disappointment.
