"Rooms were clean, staff were very helpful with questions. The shuttle to and from Universal Studios was a big plus. The only two things I would put down as "could be better", is more selection for kids on the restaurant menus and our shower kept leaking out to the floor from the glass partition. Other than that, our stay was good."

"The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They waived fees during some construction with the elevator down. They worked quickly to get us checked in and early to help accommodate our plans at Universal for the day. The shower in our room was amazing!!! 2 shower heads!!! Such a spa experience especially after being at Universal all day! Will definitely stay here again. The room and property was clean and well maintained. The air conditioner was perfect during the hot weather. Love the little market shop they have!"

"Beautifully designed hotel in a convenient location in Santa Monica. The staff were polite and helpful. Surprised there wasn't even a single bottle of complimentary water in the room, and even a note saying 'if you pick anything from the minibar for over 60 seconds it will be charged to your room'. Comfortable room with a large bathroom but would expect more at this rate. The restaurant on the rooftop has outstanding views of Santa Monica and the beach. Breakfast was wonderful. Was only there briefly for a night but it felt a little soulless. It's all about the aesthetic."

"Great place and convenient for West LA commute. Very spacious room, staff are helpful and nice. Cleaning service are available upon request so that you know when will your room being accessed. Pretty safe and quiet (depending on your next room’s) and easy access to Ralph’s, Erewhon, lots of cafes and restaurants and 10 minutes walk to the Studio City shopping area (Sephora, Trader Joe’s, Free People, Crossroads, wasteland, Urbanoutfitter and other boutiques and shops)."
