"Nice hotel with convenient distance (walkable, about 10-15 minutes walk to the town) to Silves. Our favorite things here are the huge car park and swimming pool. WiFi only available in lobby area and breakfast is ok."

"This is an older hotel but was clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. The 9euro breakfast was excellent I would stay here again if I'm in the area."

"A very nice resort. We decided to take a Bolt to the one of the towns near by and to our selected attractions and end up the transportation cost is still reasonably. Mini-golf and tennis is available. Swimming pool is very clean and well maintained. Pool side breakfast is very enjoyable. Mimosa is included in the breakfast!"

"We had to change rooms because there were ants in the room. There was a lot of construction going on which would have been nice to be made aware of. The view in our new room was beautiful. The room was not cleaned properly. The bathroom floor was very dirty. There were also bugs in the new room too. It was disappointing."

"Breakfast had such a great variety and everything was delicious! The set up of the b&b were great and it was a very clean location. Staff was wonderful and extremely nice and accommodating. The only thing is that the room did get quite humid/moist, but if you keep the window opens it helps. We would absolutely stay there again!"

"Breakfast daily was amazing. Huge variety of options and always a great start to the day. Location was perfect for us. It sits on a hiking trail with a beautiful beach (Albandeira). It’s small but private. Some days the water was rough but others it was fine to swim. Rooms were clean, small but had everything we needed. Our only wish is that staff were a little friendlier. Maybe I’m just used to friendly Canadian culture and this was noticeably different."

"The units are very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is set up perfect with all the dinnerware, pots, pans and appliances that you would require. We even had a juicer and we had the most delicious orange juice. The staff was always helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again!"

"The room and bathroom were excellent and the brkfst was perfect. The air/heat was working well. Everyone was very helpful and ready to offer more. The last morning we were there they laid out an early breakfast even though I think we were the only ones there and were leaving before breakfast would normally have begun. My husband and I would definitely recommend Villa Rio Guest House to friends. "
