"The Murray is an Art Deco Gem of a hotel! My friend and I checked in on Monday 10-26 for a two night stay. Matthew greeted us upon arrival at the front desk and was very welcoming and friendly. The lobby was filled with many boxes as the hotel is gearing up for the addition of a highly anticipated restaurant and lounge. Many restaurants in Silver City are closed Monday and Tuesday but Matthew was able to make some recommendations that we found most helpful. The continental breakfast included...

"Staff was not all that friendly they should be trained better to greet the guests."

"It's time to either clean or replace the carpets on the hallway and the stairway to the second floor"

"Stayed a night, traveling with a friend - loved the option of 2 queen-size beds. Enjoyed comfy beds w/ multiple pillows, nice easy to walk-in shower, quiet room, and some tv viewing. Great location in the middle of everything we wanted to see & do in Silver City!"

"Good"

"An absolute gem right outside of Silver City. Close enough for gadgets to work, if needed, but far enough away to feel like you're on a whole other world Already planning a trip for the spring. Clean, comfy, and cozy. Had four deer eating 40 feet from me while I cooked dinner on the grill. Check-in was a breeze and they were more than friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go again, and next time bringing our pugs."

"There was no hot water during shower time and only one towel in the bathroom for two guests. Would not provide a second towel for the 2nd guest."

"The room had a handicap bathroom. Out dated needed repair. Seems like the room hand not been used. Bu they had Bed bugs. I ended up with so not happy."

Second room had a hole about 1x2 feet in the front window; only 2 sheets on bed, no blanket in February. Heater was duct-taped to the wall. Single overhead light had no bulb and when I finally found another employee to get me one, I discovered the fixture wasnt...

"Room large and clean. Bathroom area large. Very small bar soaps provided. No shampoo provided. Coffee available in lobby."
