Staff welcoming, clean neat motel. Breakfast was adequate had coffee several choices on juice, waffles, yogurt, muffins and cereal. The retro look was neat. Even microwaves were retro. This may be the best $80 motel ever. Truly refurbished with excellent and highly functional design. Plenty of space for storage, a nice easy chair with ottoman, good lighting, comfortable bed, plenty of electrical outlets, and stylish. Felt like this was created by someone who actually imagined how space would be used. Have stayed in far more expensive places that looked better than they were functionally.

I booked four rooms for family staying in Silver City during graduation. All rooms were dirty and very dated, but mine was the worse. The bathroom was filthy with urine stains on the floor, pubic hairs on the walls and in the shower, and yellow grime on the bathtub. There were also 2 dead roaches in the room and it had not been vacuumed. Bed was incredibly old and very hard. I asked for a new room but they would not accommodate my request and on a busy weekend, there were no other hotels available. The next day they sent someone in to clean, but they did not clean the bathroom or remove the dead roaches. I called the front desk again and another person was sent up to clean again, this time better, but not great. I have asked to speak to a manager and still no call - it has been over two weeks. I will never stay there again and plan on posting on all social media and review sites until I am granted a call back from the establishment and offered a real, monetary, solution to the inconvenience.

The Lulu hotel is a roadside motel with kitschy accents from the 1950s. We asked for two beds and got only one bed. The hotel blamed it on Expedia and said no changes could be made because they were full. The rooms were comfortable enough. We were able to park right outside our room. It was nice to have a mini fridge and a microwave (we didn’t use it). The shower was also a bathtub. I like having the handheld sprayer. The breakfast was good with make-your-own waffles. And coffee. We chose it for the price. It was good value for the money. It was 6 minutes to the center of Silver city New Mexico. .
