romantic hotel

Beautiful hotel in the valley, surrounded by the trees and flowers. We enjoyed a romantic breakfast in the nice deck and we will never forget. Specially the hotel is closed to Ukrainian border, only 5mins drive distance.

Ok hotel for overnight stay. Parking is a problem at weekends. Spaces very narrow especially as cars park opposite spaces. You are well outside town so eating is only really practical at hotel. Food ok but don't expect anything fancy. Staff very good. The hotel holds events such as weddings and on such days it will be busy. Lift extremely small, only goes to 2nd floor, i had to carry my wife's and my cases up a further floor. Reception did not offer any assistance. Fortunately my heart held out. Room clean and bed comfortably

We booked 2 nights, but once we arrived we liked it so much and added another night through reception. Is a very old hotel, built in 1942 but is refurbished with such a great taste and you get mixed feelings, old and new in the same time. We love it. The lady from reception (sorry, but cannot remember the name) was very friendly and helpful. Also Cristi, the other receptionist, is a great asset for the hotel. Very friendly, he gave us a lot of informations about places to visit and no question remaind unanswered. Thank you for making our stay memorable. The hotel is located in the middle of a beautiful park, with the river next to it. The food was tasty and I really enjoyed the included breakfast buffet served on the patio. Best way to start the day, a very good coffee ( a plus is the espresso machine with coffe selection made from fresh coffe beans) served on the patio with a great view. The only negative part was the dinner food that did not come at the same time. My daughter pizza came after our mains and by the time it arrived she wasn't hungry anymore as we had to share ours with her.

Nice hotel by the park

We enjoyed our stay. Breakfasts were really quite good with lots of variety and good quality. Building is a little historic but well maintained, in fact they were repainting the restaurant while we were there but that was no inconvenience. Will definitely return.

Beautiful and quiet location surrounded by nature, next to a park and the Iza river, 10-15 minutes walk from downtown Sighet and other touristic attractions. The restaurant and beer garden on site have tables inside and outside, and the staff is very friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. A very nice hotel!

Very satisfying stay on the park

Lovely location next to a park and river. Great breakfast with wide and varied selections of hot and cold foods including both international and local flavors. Historic building in great shape. They were even painting lounge one morning so they keep iy up. Friendly helpful staff. Our only regret was they were fully booked for the weekend so we had to move on but we will definitely stay again when we return to Sighet.

Flot hotel.

Jeg kom sent og skulle tidligt afsted. Hotellet har masser af stemning og miljø. Det er flot og man føler dig straks godt tilpas. Der er en stor restaurant med inde og udeservering. Jeg vil benytte stedet, hvis jeg kommer tilbage og gerne bo bo der i længere tid.

Recepcionista muy desagradable.

Mi experiencia fue horrible. El trato del personal de recepción el día 24 de agosto de 2022 a las 17:00 horas fue inadmisible. No teníamos habitación siendo que la hora de entrada era a las 14:00 horas. Y el que atendía en aquellos momentos en recepción ante mi queja se molesto mostrando total indiferencia a lo que ya se le decía. Llegue a pedirle hoja de reclamaciones y me dijo que no tenía, dandome una hoja en blanco. No se digno ningún responsable a darnos explicaciones, siendo personal del restaurante el que tuvo que salir y muy amablemente me escuchó. Pero no todo acabo ahí. A la salida el día siguiente de nuevo el mismo individuo de recepción volvió a poner problemas. Que la habitación no estaba pagada, cuando sí estaba abonada por Expedia. De nuevo sin atender a nuestras explicaciones tuvo que salir una empleada del restaurante. Seguía insistiendo que no estaba pagada. Decidimos pagar y reclamar luego a Expedia, porque no entraba en razón después de varios minutos generando una cola de clientes en recepción. A la hora de pagar puso de nuevo problemas. Que no hacía la factura a nombre del pagador, hasta que finalmente tras varios minutos hizo la factura como lo pediamos, que era lo legal. En fin, una persona que no se merece tal puesto, con una actitud totalmente prepotente y altiba. Espero que, ya que personalmente ningún responsable del hotel dio explicaciones a tal conducta, lo haga ahora y tome medidas al respecto.

Excellent Hotel, Convenient Location

We booked this hotel due to its proximity to the international border, so we could meet friends that were fleeing the war in Ukraine. However, when we got to the hotel (3am), we were very impressed with quality and cleanness of the rooms and with truly outstanding level professionalism of the staff. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel to anyone who is traveling in the area and need a safe and beautiful place to stay.

We arrived late at night after a long, long, drive in the mountains only to be told we had no reservations and the hotel was full. I had reserved two rooms through Expedia in June... this was October, we were all tired, it was almost midnight and we had no where to go...finally the receptionist realized that we DID have reservations but blamed the mistake on Expedia. Funny that he acknowledged the reservations...anyway he said he would work it out...and did, more or less. We were not happy with our experience. Otherwise the hotel was OK.
