Beautiful property and lovely hosts

Our hosts were wonderful and so accommodating. It was my partners birthday and Vanessa went out of her way to make her day special. Really nice people and comfortable rooms with personal little touches. We highly recommend staying here.

Vanessa is a super host, great motorcycle parking in the courtyard along with delicious cold beer. Walking distance to downtown, many bars and restaurants. Comfortable beds, nice and quiet, Great Breakfast.

By far the worst and most hostile hotel experience I’ve ever had in Romania – or anywhere else. When I arrived, I politely asked for a double room and the price. They showed me a room with a queen bed, exactly what I needed. I then asked if they could match the cheaper online price — they refused, which was fine, so I booked online anyway. Only a few minutes later, the manager came to me in a shockingly aggressive and unfriendly manner and told me I would now get a completely different room — a tiny one with a single, miserable-looking bed. She openly said that because I booked online for the lower rate, she would punish me by giving me that bad room, even though plenty of proper double rooms were clearly available. The situation got worse: • The room was freezing cold, with the heating completely off despite 6°C outside. • The bathroom was dirty, clearly not cleaned properly. • And when I tried to ask politely for help, I was verbally insulted and treated in a humiliating way. This behavior is absolutely unacceptable for any business that calls itself a hotel. It was hostile, unprofessional, and intentionally disrespectful. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this place. It’s not just poor service — it’s openly malicious treatment of guests.

Pensiunea Buon Gusto Sibiu offers a welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. However, our stay was marred by unexpected disturbances from large groups of teenagers on consecutive nights. Although the staff upgraded our room as a preemptive gesture, the noise significantly disrupted our experience. While the incidents might be isolated, better communication about potential group bookings could have mitigated the inconvenience. Additionally, the absence of luggage assistance post-check-in and missing practical amenities like mugs and teaspoons were disappointing oversights. For future guests, I advise inquiring about potential group bookings beforehand and suggest the management pay closer attention to practical guest needs. Despite the amiable staff, ensuring a tranquil environment is crucial for an enjoyable stay.

a low cost option

not very practical, no parking but in the street (not for free), to check in you need to call, no breakfast offered despite advertised on listing because "we were the first guests of the day to request it", the rooms are minimal and not impeccable.

Bien ubicado, excelente host!

Nuestra estancia fue muy agradable. Vanessa se encargo de que cada detalle fuera perfecto desde abtes de que llegaramos. Lo unico que debo mencionar es que si viajan de paises calurosos, sera bueno avisar al host y hacerle saber que temperatura tener en el estudio. No hubo ningin problema que no pudiera ser rápidamente solucionado al respecto de la calefacción.

Wir wurden besonders freundlich empfangen, bei Ankunft wurde uns sofort und ohne Nachfrage das Tor geöffnet, so dass wir die Motorräder sicher abstellen konnten. Die Wirtin hat sich direkt bei uns vorgestellt. Danach wurde uns sofort ein kühles Bier serviert und wir konnten uns nach der hitzigen Fahrt entspannen. Uns wurde alles erklärt, wir haben Tipps bekommen und wir wurden immer nach unseren Wünschen gefagt. Es war eine besondere Herzlichkeit zu spüren. Vielen Dank

Beautiful quite place

Beautiful place with nice quite rooms. Only drawback was wifi was bad in room. Beautiful weather, so I used it out in courtyard.
