"2nd visit to this beautiful boutique hotel. Loved the rooms,food & beautiful gardens with plenty of tables & seating areas. Staff very helpful & friendly. Car park close by you do have to pay however we downloaded app and where able to top up following morning. Very central to everything you need bars restaurants shopping and great walks near by. Would highly recommend "
"Simply superb! This traditional B&B, for me, was perfect. Louise met me at the door with a warm smile and showed me to my, quaint, comfortable room. The brass-rail bed was super comfortable and my breakfast was cooked excellently by Peter, the other half of this welcoming (and hardworking) couple. Highly recommend this place when you’re passing through Shrewsbury UK.

"Hotel short walk from station run by young couple keen to make a difference. Oozes character, surrounded by historic architecture and fits right in. Cafes, restaurants, pubs close at hand with lots of shopping close to hand. I nipped down a nearby alley each morning to enjoy a great riverside walk to the park and home for breakfast."
"Excellent stay , room lovely all staff were so friendly and helpful ! Breakfast very nice , no complaints at all it was 30 degrees when we stayed ,room was very warm but a fan was provided without us needing to ask .

"Highly recommend to stay at Cromwell’s Tap House. It’s located in the heart of Shrewsbury, at walking distance of pretty much everything in town. Only 7 minutes from the train station. The rooms were located on the first floor above the pub. We heard no noise whatsoever, and only in the morning we heard some cars go by, but it was of no nuisance to us. "Fabulous period property with so much charm. There were only a handful of people staying, including me, which made for a very peaceful stay. I slept well, and the rooms had great amenities. I would say the rooms felt dated, but this adds to the charm of the property.
